ICYMI: PPP POLL SHOWS TIGHTENING RACE A TREND

DES MOINES – A new PPP Poll released today shows Sen. Jack Hatch has cut 20-year incumbent Gov. Terry Branstad’s lead in half and confirms a trend that the Iowa’s governor’s race is not a foregone conclusion.

The poll – which shows a 11-point difference – mirrors a Quinnipiac Poll released earlier this morning with the same results.

“These two polls, released hours before Election Day, show that this race is in fact going to be much closer than anyone expected,” Hatch-Vernon Campaign Manager Grant Woodard said. “Momentum is clearly growing thanks to Jack and Monica’s travels across the state and the phenomenal coordinated field effort by the Iowa Democratic Party.”
