DES MOINES – The Hatch-Vernon campaign Monday released its’ final television ad of the campaign, entitled “Fresh Start.”

The ad is an summary of Jack Hatch’s record of fighting for Iowa’s hardworking families, from children to students to Iowa women.

“Our closing ad is an upbeat, optimistic look at the opportunities a Hatch-Vernon administration will offer Iowans,” Campaign Manager Grant Woodard said Monday. “It’s important Iowans know what Jack and Monica stand for and what they will focus on beginning with the 2015 legislative session.”

The ad highlights Hatch’s support for preschool and children’s health care, his direct involvement in rebuilding Cedar Rapids after the 2008 flood and his battle for a working families tax cut.

The ad repeats the campaign’s theme of offering Iowans a “fresh start” after the failed Branstad years, symbolized by Hatch’s decision to shave his mustache in June.
